How Things Become Meaningful
Recorded 5 October 1976 at Western Michigan University
This is one of the first presentations in which Tomkins attempted to explain script theory in terms of his work on the nature of affect. Informally recorded (a consumer cassette recorder set on a chair in the middle of a classroom), this lecture has recently been re-edited for sonic quality by Training Director Jonathan Grindlinger in his personal audio studio and is now remarkably clear.
